The 99th year of the Great Offensive, which the Turkish army under the command of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk ended with victory on 30 August 1922, has come. Known as one of the world's greatest heroic epics, the 'Great Offensive and the Battle of the Commander-in-Chief' ended with a magnificent victory of the Turkish Nation on 30 August. Enemy armies suffered great defeat and devastation. About a year before the August 30 Victory, the Sakarya Pitched Battle took place. The Battle of Sakarya, which started in Mangaldağı on August 23, 1921, had an important place in the independence struggle of our country, lasted 22 days and 22 nights. It ended in victory on September 13, 1921. After this victory, after a year-long preparation period in order to completely expel the enemy forces from our country, on 26 August 1922, Commander-in-Chief Mustafa Kemal Pasha started the Great Offensive. On the eve of the most important victory of the Turkish army in the War of Independence, Commander-in-Chief Mustafa Kemal Pasha ordered the troops to attack at Zafertepe Çalköy on the morning of 30 August. In the field battle in Dumlupınar, which he personally led, the heroic Mehmetçik completely destroyed the enemy troops on both sides of the Alliören, Goats, Kızıltaş Stream road. As we celebrate the 99th anniversary of this great victory with great enthusiasm and happiness, we commemorate Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his comrades in arms with mercy, gratitude and gratitude.
