Surgical Medical Sciences
A total of 99 academic staff members are currently employed within the Department of Surgical Medical Sciences, including 59 Professors, 23 Associate Professors, 16 Assistant Professors, and 1 Lecturer with a PhD degree. The department actively contributes to undergraduate medical education, while also providing postgraduate specialty training to 234 research assistants and subspecialty education to 12 fellows.
Through its affiliated divisions, the Department of Surgical Medical Sciences delivers comprehensive medical diagnostic and therapeutic services at the Ondokuz Mayıs University Faculty of Medicine Health Practice and Research Center, serving a total of 206,449 inpatients and outpatients annually.
